One stayed for the arbor and the shade and for boasting that I preserve my heritage and my childhood and the values that are uprooted like the thorns from the body of the one that picks up prickly pears. And the memory like death picks up beloved and dear ones, either by repeated road accidents, or heart attacks that we did not know when our childhood began and ended in the house yard and in the few vineyards that remained.” (Naim Araidi)

“لم يبق كثيرًا من كروم العنب التي كانت تملأ طفولتي. بقيتْ واحدة للعريشة والظّلّ وللمفاخرة بأنّي أحافظ على تراثي وعلى طفولتي وعلى القيم التي تُقتلع كما الشّوك من الجسد الذي يقطف صاحبه الصّبر. والذّاكرة كما يقطف الموت أحبّاء وأعزّاء، إمّا بحوادث الطّرق المتكرّرة، وإمّا بالسّكتات القلبيّة التي لم نكن نعرفها عندما كانت طفولتنا تبدأ وتنتهي في ساحة الدّار وفي كروم العنب التي لم يبقَ منها الكثير.” (نعيم عرايدي)

Returns
If you want to return an item, please get in touch within 14 days of delivery and ship it back within 30 days of delivery.
