Paper print of an original Arabic calligraphy artwork by Kamil Dow.
Arabic text in English:
“In the entrance to the tunnel of exiled homeland / Where the ages dampen / Where darkness breeds with despair / The hangman, maddened, exclaimed: / “Where is the light coming from? / The tunnel is sealed prison cells / And the night is armed to the teeth ?!” / … Yet eyes are clinging to spiritual rays.” (Hanna Abu Hanna)
